Abstract
The pulvinar (lateral posterior [LP]), like other higher-order thalamic nuclei, receives input from-and sends output to-multiple neocortical structures. In this issue of Neuron, Blot etal. (2021) demonstrate that LP integrates multimodal inputs to put visual information in context.
