Abstract

Organizational commitment perceptions, can have positive effects in organizations and may have advantageous impacts on individual and organizational job performance. Various organizational perceptions such as trust in the positive way and cynicism in the negative way may influence individuals’ behaviors within organizations and these organizational perceptions may also have effects on the organizational commitment perceptions. This study was conducted to reveal the role of employees’ organizational trust and cynicism perceptions on organizational commitment. For this aim, the data were collected from 371 employees in manufactoring sector and analyzed in the structural equation model framework. According to the results of the research, it was found that there is significant positive relationship between organizational trust and organizational commitment, on the contrary negative relation with organizational cynicism and commitment. Furthernore, this research consequence indicates that organizational trust and organizational cynicism perceptions of employees predict organizational commitment.
