Abstract

It is a study of the effects on the legal system, particularly in the civil context, the use of embryonic and adult stem cells for therapeutic purposes. The use of adult stem cells is peaceful and comparable to organ transplantation techniques. As embryonic, it was found to be the best technique from the use of surplus embryos. It is objectionable, excessively, these cloning, even for therapeutic purposes, as well as the production of embryos with single order to remove these cells for therapeutic research experiments. In the civil context can not be considered alone, subjects of rights, and fully feasible to use in humanitarian scientific research.
