Abstract

The feasibility analysis of Mexico's participation in peacekeeping operations involves legal issues pertaining to both international and Mexican domestic constitutional law. Particularly, those related to the conditions set out by the President as guidelines for Mexico's participation will be analyzed, videlicet the powers of the United Nations to create them, their legality under both international and domestic Mexican law, and the relationships between the Federal Executive Branch and Congress for their implementation.
