Abstract

A number of algorithms for processing images of blood serum facies are proposed for automated medical diagnosis, i.e., determination of the boundaries of facies, identification of their morphological type, and detection of certain markers indicating pathology. The mathematical modeling of such images is considered. The proposed algorithms have shown high efficiency when tested on real and simulated images and can be recommended for use in computer-aided diagnosis.
