Abstract

An algorithm for the quantitative determination of isomers by dual-channel HPLC detectors is considered using the example of a multicomponent mixture of six disulfo isomers of two organic dyes applied in manufacturing polarizers. The algorithm uses the methods of simultaneous detection at two wavelengths and suppression of peaks with subsequent optimization of the detection wavelength. The control of the isomer composition of mixtures of organic dyes allows one to optimize the optical parameters of thin films based on the anisotropic materials considered.
