Algebraic curves and the Gauss map of algebraic minimal surfaces

Abstract

In this paper, we first establish a second main theorem for algebraic curves into the n-dimensional projective space. We then use it to study the ramified values for the Gauss map of the complete (regular) minimal surfaces in R m with finite total curvature, as well as the uniqueness problem.
