Abstract

Algebraic criteria for absolute stability of Lure system is derived by using optimization technique from theorems about complex systems. The conditions for absolute stability are expressed in the form of inequalities, which contain no variable other than system parameters, and therefore can be checked readily. The values of the left-hand sides of the inequalities also give information about the extent of the absolute stability. Furthermore, some system parameters (variables) can be included in the inequalities and can be solved for by using the symbolic computation technique, therefore, the criteria are useful for system design. Finally, the criteria can be easily automated on a computer. >
