Abstract

Anesthesia for cesarean section in patients with severe aortic stenosis may be hazardous as a result of hypotension associated with conduction anesthesia or hypertension and tachycardia associated with endotracheal intubation in general anesthesia. The current report deals with the use of high-dose opioid anesthesia to produce maternal hemodynamic stability.
