Abstract

Today, the design and development of smart homes and the way in which the user interacts with them is becoming more and more common. There are different ways in which a user can interact with these technological elements, such as wireless communications, control from a mobile device and through voice, the latter of great relevance for this paper. The design of such buildings seeks the comfort of the individual or individuals who inhabit it, modifying the internal conditions of the property, such as interior and exterior lighting, humidity, etc. This environment control occurs due to the reading of values recorded by sensors, and the output reaction of the actuators. This paper presents the proposal for a control system of light and temperature conditions within a building through Alexa. The conditioning of such physical magnitudes is carried out by means of fuzzy controllers. The presented scheme could be easily used in an automation system.
