Abstract

Las pinturas de la antigua joyería-relojería "Ghiara" constituyen los únicos vestigios en Málaga de la decoración pictórica de locales comerciales del XIX, una práctica muy extendida en el fin de siglo. Se trata de dos lienzos encastrados en el techo, que pueden atribuirse al pintor local José Ponce, y que presentan un doble interés formal e iconográfico.
