Abstract

Chroma tograms of extracts from roots of eggplant, pepper and tomato plants inoculated with Verticillium dahliae contained many substances toxic to Cladosporium cucumerinum. Of these substances a few were also present in extracts from uninoculated plants, but most were present in extracts from uninoculated plants which had been treated with benomyl, carbendazim or thiabendazole.
