AbstractChemicals (MIC: 11.1 SIC: 2821 NAIC: 325211)Albemarle is a global producer of engineered specialty chemicals. Co. has three segments. The Polymer Additives segment consists of brominated, mineral and phosphorus flame retardants and other polymer additives such as curatives, antioxidants and stabilizers. The Catalysts segment includes refinery catalysts to reduce sulphur and other impurities from petroleum products and for “cracking” petroleum into higher‐value products, such as fuels and petrochemical feedstock; and polyolefin catalysts used as co‐catalysts in the production of polyolefins. The Fine Chemicals segment produces performance chemicals; pharmachemicals; agrichemicals; and provides fine chemistry services and intermediates.
