Abstract

Through an analysis of the film Libera Me (1993), this essay presents and examines French director Alain Cavalier's conception of cinema. The author of the article uses a rhetorical form similar to that displayed in the film, in order to give a sense of its nature. As a result, the combination of different fragments and quotations, and the writing in «close ups» offers the reader a unique reading space.
