Abstract
The legal field of medical criminal law has developed rapidly over the past decades. The Medical Law Working Group of the German Bar Association, together with the Düsseldorf Institute for Medical Law, annually organizes the Düsseldorf Medical Criminal Law Day. This publication makes the conference contributions of the 12th Medical Criminal Law Day accessible to the professional public. The articles highlight current decisions and trends in medical criminal law, design pitfalls relevant to criminal law in medical collaborations, proposals for the legal regulation of assisted suicide, the public relations work of defense counsels, psychology in crimi-nal proceedings against physicians, and criminal law risks in remote treatment.
