Abstract

Hypertension or high blood pressure occurs when an increase in blood pressure that is above normal blood pressure exceeds 140 mmHg systolic and 90 mmHg diastolic. Hypertension is still included global health problem and is often experienced by the people of Indonesia and require a good handling. Antihypertensive drugs are used to lower blood pressure to normal limits. Based on research conducted dewandru leaf ethanol extract (Eugenia uniflora L.), ethanol extract of leaves of starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) seeds melinjo hydrolyzed protein (Gnetum gnemon), infusion of a combination of beans and corn silk (Zea mays L.), plant dodder (Cassytha filiformis L.) leaves and roots mambu (Connarus grandis J.) having antihypertensive activity. The method used in this article review the primary data searches are conducted online using Google, Google Schoolar and Portal Garuda (IPI). The results of the optimal dose of blood pressure reduction obtained from the ethanol extract of the leaves dewandaru (Eugenia uniflora L.) 1.2 mg / 200 gBW, ethanol extract of leaves of starfruit (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) dose of 120 mg / kg / day with captopril 2.5 mg / kg, beans melinjo hydrolyzed protein (Gnetum gnemon) there was no significant difference from the 4th dose, infusion of a combination of beans and corn silk (Zea mays L.) combinations of hair and corn seeds (50:50), plant dodder (Cassytha filiformis L.) dose of 5 mg / kg and leaf root mambu (Connarus grandis J.) 20 mg / kgBB.
