Abstract

Women access to reproduction health services is a factor which influences maternal dead rate in lndonesia. This essay is a research report on women access to reproduction facilities connected to pregnancy and birth making control, and the use of contraception in Riau Archipelago and Southeast Sulawesi provinces. The research which applies qualitative method shows that health policy in both provinces has considered health service aspect, especially women access to reproduction facility. Nonetheless, there remain some constraints in providing further facility, health workers, supervisors and support staff, as well as political support from regional government and cultural support fram the whole community.
