AJR 2009;192:S53–S56 0361–803X/09/1923–S53 © American Roentgen Ray Society Case History A 48-year-old woman with a history of hypertension who had undergone dilatation and curettage for vaginal bleeding related to uterine fibroids presents with palpitations and chest pain. A heart murmur is detected on physical examination. Echocardiography performed elsewhere depicted a possible right atrial myxoma with inferior vena caval involvement. She was then referred to our institution for further evaluation and treatment.
