Abstract
AbstractAirway management in thoracic surgery is often demanding due to either the nature of surgery or due to the disease related changes in respiratory system, or both. Site of surgery could be on the lungs or intrathoracic portion of other organs such as vertebra or esophagus, both requiring lung isolation. Alternately, surgery could be on the airway itself requiring single lumen tube with additional challenges.
