Abstract
The key role of respiratory physiotherapy and rehabilitation in the post-operative management of lung transplant recipients is widely acknowledged. Despite literature to support the safety and efficacy of respiratory physiotherapy in other diseases, there is limited evidence to inform best practice following lung transplant. There are no guidelines and minimal collaboration between specialist centres. This study describes current respiratory physiotherapy practice following lung transplant in adult and paediatric UK centres.
