Abstract

THERE is a strange dichotomy of attitudes toward technology in the General Aviation and Air Charter Business. On the one hand embracing with open arms the advances in sophisticated aviation and navigation technology and on the other looking with suspicion in the attempts to improve operations and management using computers. Admittedly software houses have until now, not been addressing themselves directly to this market, but the industry been traditionally sceptical towards any attempts to change it.
