Abstract

In order to detect and recognize aircraft targets in remote sensing images quickly and accurately, this paper proposes a method based on Faster R-CNN convolution neural network. Aircraft targets can be recognized and located rapidly through sample labeling, candidate region generation, aircraft model training, and target detection. The results show that it is feasible to use Faster R-CNN convolution neural network for target recognition in optical remote sensing images. It has significant advantages and potential in computational efficiency and accuracy.
