Abstract

AbstractIn this communication we consider the problem of modelling a multi agents system evolving over a bi dimensional grid. Starting from an initial state, it is considered that the overall aim of the agents population is to behave so that the system reaches a desired final state in a minimum time. Each agent is characterized by motion parameters while to each cell is associated a current capacity. The application of interest in this study is relative to emergency evacuation of aircraft and the influence of cabin crew over its performance. a non standard assignment problem is formulated so that cabin crew can be used efficiently during emergency evacuation. The solution of this problem should provide minimum time standards as well as insights for the design of personal guidance assistance in emergency situations.
