Abstract

1. In the case of explosions of detonating cord, the pressure at the air shock wave front can be estimated by formula (1), taking account of expressions (6) and (7) for the equivalent lumped charge. 2. The mass of the equivalent lumped charge in the case of the explosion of detonating cord at large distance is determined by the charge geometry, and also by the distance at which the effect of the shock waves is being considered. 3. With the thickness of the filling layer exceeding the diameter of the DC tape by a factor of up to 15, the pressure at the ASW front was reduced by a factor of up to 3.
