Abstract

Air pollution is potentially a reversible cause of significant global mortality and morbidity. Epidemiological evidence suggests associations between exposure and impaired cognitive performance, stress, and increased risk for neuropsychiatric disorders. However, the underlying neural mechanisms of these relationships are unclear.
