Abstract

Inhalant abuse has long been regarded as a concerning form of substance abuse in teenagers and young adults, and is now becoming increasingly prevalent in the adult population. Inhalants are readily available in various household products, although acquisition of these items in any significant quantity can be costly and raise suspicion for abuse. Here, we report the case of a man who reported abusing air conditioner fluid and review the available literature on this form of inhalant abuse.
