Abstract
Abstract Air bags have become a valuable commodity in automobile safety. They are responsible for saving thousands of lives every year. With the increased use of air bags, there have been more ocular injuries related to air bag inflation. The purpose of this summary is to provide primary eye care practitioners with a review of these reported ocular injuries and their appropriate management. This review also stresses the importance that patients who present with air bag trauma undergo a complete eye examination.
