Abstract

<h2>Abstract</h2> AI-Landslide is a decision support software for a city planner, disaster recovery strategist or landslide researcher. The software can be deployed in a number of platforms including mobile phones (Android or iOS), tablets or desktop environments. AI-Landslide uses AI based algorithms like automated regression analysis, decomposition analysis and anomaly detection to find out hidden insights on landslide features. The user of AI-landslide does not need to have prior knowledge on AI algorithms, since the right algorithms are executed in the background and the hidden insights on the landslide data are presented in a natural language. Introduction and motivation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has traditionally been used for landslide research in landslide detection [1], landslide characterization [2], landslide susceptibility assessment [3], landslide prediction [4], and early warning systems [5] With all these previous research studies, expert data scientists were running algorithms on Machine Learning (ML) platforms or services. These existing solutions are not suitable for a strategic decision maker, who has limited knowledge on ML or AI algorithms. Using the presented interactive software, a strategic decision maker can quickly define a scenario and instantly receive AI based insight using algorithms like automated regression analysis, anomaly detection and decomposition analysis. The AI-Landslide presents the AI-based insight in a language that the landslide strategist would understand using natural language processing (NLP) [6]
