Abstract

Social demands for the education and competency empowerment of ‘AI literacy’ are required as AI has been developing. However, there has been little attention to evaluate the AI literacy of Domestic AI users. As a result, the purpose of this study is to develop a validity and reliability Scale of AI Literacy for domestic environments. To achieve this, the study first reviewed the principles related to AI literacy and developed the AI literacy dimensions and questionnaires. Second, this study con ducted a survey on four-year university students and verified reliability through EFA(Exploratory Factor Analysis) and Reliability Analysis and validity through CFA( Confirmatory Factor Analysis). Lastly, the study refined the AI literacy factors and measurement model. As a result, there have been founded five sub elements of AI literacy: AI iden tification, AI understanding, AI usage, AI application and AI creation, and 18 spe cific questions. Furthermore, this research can be expected to serve as an objective assessment for Al literacy usage and foundational resource for legal and policy considerations.
