AH-04: Laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding complications and outcomes in a single U.S. center with four-year follow-up

Abstract

Our center has performed 406 Laparoscopic Adjustable Band procedures since December 02, all with the Para Flaccida Technique with port placement in the left upper quadrant. All Adjustable Bands were placed by the same surgeon. All patients received dietary and behavioral instruction regarding the use of the Gastric Band both Pre-op and Post-op.
