Abstract
This paper describes the AGV scheduling system based on mqtt protocol. The traditional AGV scheduling system uses TCP protocol to communicate with nodes directly, which takes up the resources of the system operation greatly when there are many nodes. This system is developed twice based on opentcs platform, and an AGV scheduling system based on mqtt communication protocol is designed. Redis database is used to cache mqtt subscription messages, and a b/s based management system is developed to analyze user requests to create transport tasks and visual factory overview. It provides various ways to create transportation tasks, connect ERP and MES systems to realize automatic scheduling function; intelligent equipment installed in station provides users with request operation function; in case of emergency, administrators can quickly create transportation tasks through management system. The result of the test proves that the communication line connected with mqtt server is needed to exchange all data with multiple nodes.
