Abstract

One of the most important economic pillars is agriculture, which provides raw materials for industrial processes and much-needed food. However, agriculture is also a major contributor to climate change and environmental degradation. The need for sustainable agriculture has never been more pressing as the world grapples with numerous environmental issues that threaten food security and livelihoods. The launch of AgroEnvironmental Sustainability, a new journal dedicated to promoting sustainable agricultural practices, is a welcome and timely development. The journal will bring forward scientific information that addresses challenges in agriculture, economic, social, health, and environmental aspects.
