Abstract
ABSTRACT The objective of this study is to analyze the impact of agricultural credit on maize, sorghum and paddy rice productivity in Togo. The results reveal that credit has a positive and significant impact on these productivities. This general result varies depending on the type of credit, however. In kind credit has a positive and significant impact on maize and sorghum productivity, but no significant impact on paddy rice productivity. In contrast, the impacts on productivity of credit in hard cash are negative with respect to maize, positive with respect to sorghum, and not significant with respect to paddy rice.
