Abstract

Mouse tissue culture cells with in vivo growth potential form aggregates in gyratory cultures at +6 °C after mechanical dissociation. At this temperature, trypsinized cells remain free. The pattern of aggregation is similar in the presence or in the absence of serum. These facts support the role of cell surface material(s) in the mechanism of aggregation.
