Abstract

Modeling of associated local diamagnetic defects generated in amorphous selenium by transformation of the continuous random network (CRN) was performed in the cluster approximation with inclusion of electron correlation effects at the second-order perturbation theory (MP2) level. It was shown that the participation of configurations involving four-coordinate atoms can lead to the formation of associated local defects that are as stable as the basic CNR elements.
