Abstract

AbstractStarting from pentafluorobenzene and 1,2,3,4‐tetrafluorobenzene, the phosphane ligands (o‐C6F4R)Me2P (R=H, F), as well as their copper(I) and silver(I) chloride complexes [(o‐C6F4R)Me2P]2MCl (M=Cu, Ag; R=H, F) were synthesized. All complexes were characterized by multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and CHN analyses. Their solid‐state structures were determined by X‐ray diffraction experiments and compared with each other with regard to their aggregation motifs. The aggregation in solution was investigated by variable‐temperature diffusion‐ordered NMR spectroscopy (VT‐DOSY) experiments.
