Abstract

Simulation experiment based on computational economics is an important means to evaluate market rules. In this paper, according to the actual clearing mechanisms of the power market, the simulation trading experiment of computer agent centralized bidding is designed, and the game process of the market is quantitatively analyzed. This paper studies the impact of different clearing mechanisms on market participants. This paper focuses on the market changes under different market supply and demand conditions under the market clearing price(MCP). Under MCP, the income curve of power generation enterprises is relatively flat, and the market is relatively stable, and the increase of the supply-demand ratio will correspondingly enhance the degree of competition between market participants. Due to the particularity of the electricity market, the oligopoly can manipulate the electricity price to a certain extent. The launch of the carbon market will also have a certain impact on the electricity market.
