Abstract

Our goal is no less than to induce Earth science education nationally, said Bill Houston, education project manager for the American Geological Institute (AGI), in outlining the organizations efforts to develop reform‐based Earth science curriculum programs.Houston s presentation was part of a special session at the AGU Spring Meeting to highlight efforts by U.S. federal agencies and organizations and one project in Australia to support an integrated approach to geoscience education through a variety of partnerships.
