Abstract

Regularities of immune system reactions in response to the traumatic open fractures of the mandible are given in the article. It was established, that the quantitative changes of T- and B-indexes of immune system suggest about multidirectional influence of trauma on its individual parts and have age features. Suppression of T-cell immunity is most expressed in patients older than 40 years, that can be explained by age-related changes of adaptive reactions in the direction a decrease in their intensity. Violation of humoral immunity appear by tension in her work, which was confirmed by hyper production of basic classes of immunoglobulin, except IgM stable concentrations in patients whose age was 30–39 years. The results of quantitative changes indexes of the immune system indicate that the first seven days after the trauma are the most dangerous in terms of the immune deficiency formation, this period needs immunocorrective treatment of patients according to the age. Key words: mandibular fractures, the reaction of the immune system, age features.
