Abstract

Conformational differences between aldolase from old and young rabbit muscle are revealed and described by means of UV difference spectroscopy, thermal perturbation difference spectra, and UV fluorescence. These two objects differ in thermal stability of protein conformation, but similar conformational transitions are observed on substrate binding.
