Abstract
We extract the lowest glueball mass by studying a suitable response function of an SU(3) pure lattice gauge theory. Our estimate is m g = (305±55) Λ L. We do not find finite size effects at β=6.0 for lattice sizes from 5 3 × 10 to 7 3 × 10.
