Abstract

AbstractHere we report on the preparation of a simple, efficient, and recyclable Ag‐dip‐catalyst by dip‐coating process. The dip catalyst was synthesized by dipping the filter papers (Whatman‐40) into pre‐synthesized monodispersed Ag nanoparticles suspensions in toluene. To illustrate the general applicability, the prepared Ag NPs based dip catalyst was tested in different model reactions such as nitro to amine reduction, intramolecular cascade reduction, and degradation of Methyl orange. It displayed high efficiency and excellent reusability. With many remarkable properties, these nanoparticles loaded dip catalyst open new avenues for applications of heterogeneous catalysis in both basic and industrial research.
