Abstract

Ag-doped ionic liquids (ILs) modified tubular g-C3N4 was prepared by hydrothermal, thermal polymerization and photoreduction method (Ag/PILCN). The ILs modification of g-C3N4 greatly increases its specific surface area and introduces P elements, which not only provides good conditions for the attachment of Ag nanoparticles at a later stage, but also increases the catalytic reaction sites and improves the final photocatalytic performance. Compared with pure g-C3N4, the synergistic effect of ILs surface modification and Ag doping in Ag/PILCN greatly enhanced the photocatalytic degradation ability of Ag/PILCN. The internal degradation efficiency of tetracycline reached 96.4%, and the catalytic performance did not decrease significantly after four cycles.
