Abstract

In this work, flower-like Ag/WSe2 was synthesized through solvothermal method and in situ photodeposition. Ag nanoparticles were uniformly dispersed and the catalyst exhibited a much better CO yield rate of 14.80 µmol g–1h−1 as compared with that of WSe2 (5.24 µmol g–1h−1). Based on photoelectrochemical investigation, this was mainly attributed to the enhancement of visible light absorption along with improved charge separation and transfer at the interface of Ag/WSe2.
