Abstract
What concerns us here is a particular case of limitation on liberty: encroachment on right of national self-determination by class property, as illustrated by intervention of corporate business in struggle over national question in Canada / Quebec. The liberal-democratic ethical principle of the equal right of every man and woman full development and use of his or her capabilities (Macpherson) is centered on individual; liberal democracy stakes its claim to free all individuals equally, and free them use and develop their human capacities fully. The principal impediment is class-divided society.
