Abstract

A new poll released by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) has found that the majority of Americans are interested in learning how they might be able to play a role in helping someone who may be suicidal. However, in spite of this strong desire to help, respondents are faced with a strong uncertainty about the best way to do so.
