Abstract
The main objective of this work is to study the inscriptions related to the presence of Africani in the Roman colonies of the province Hispania Citerior in centuries I and II d.C. The analysis of the causes that motivated their mobility and also other aspects such as their onomastics, professional occupations and the development of their public careers are the fundamental axes of this contribution.
