Abstract
The use of updated methods and historical research tools made it possible to represent the process of perception of Africans by non-Africans in the article through the Visual history of "African" London in the Modern Period. The author examines key directions of the evolution in the perception of "Others" by white Londoners through the prism of fine art, creating a socio-emotional canvas of everyday life in London.
