Critical QuarterlyVolume 38, Issue 2 p. 87-90 Affidavit DOUGLAS GALBRAITH, DOUGLAS GALBRAITH DOUGLAS GALBRAITH was born in Glasgow in 1965 and educated in Glasgow and at the University of St Andrews. ‘Affidavit’ is from his first collection of short stories, Officer Shenstone's Nigger, which is still seeking a publisher. The title story from this collection was one of the winners of the 1995 Ian St James Awards and will be published in 1996.
