Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate the effects of empathy and self-efficacy on the nursing performance of geriatric hospital nurses. The Participants of this study was 152 nurses of J Do. Data collection was done through the use of structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed for the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, oneway ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 24.0 program.The scores of empathy, self-efficacy, and nursing performance were 3.62±0.3, 3.69±0.46, and 3.76±0.39, respectively.
